How does Reflexology work?
Reflexologists believe that energy moves within the body along channels. Organs and systems of the body work constantly to maintain good health and balance. Ill-health can be a sign of an imbalance, interrupting our energy flow.
Your reflexologist applies controlled pressure on ‘reflex zones’ located in the feet and hands, which correspond to your body systems and organs. It is an holistic practice which promotes improvement in general health, preventing illness and relieving symptoms of stress, illness and injury, returning the body to a state of balance
Reflexologists are holistic practitioners and, therefore, work on the whole individual rather than on symptoms or specific organs.
How might Reflexology help you?
A reflexology treatment is a terrific opportunity for you to take part in your own healing process. Clients find reflexology a relaxing experience and the perfect opportunity for some ‘me’ time in their otherwise busy lives. Those with chronic conditions can find reflexology to provide relief from pain and discomfort. Whatever your reason for reflexology, you are taking an active role in improving your own health and aiding the healing process.
If you are unsure whether reflexology is right for you, feel free to call me for a confidential chat to discuss your specific circumstances.
